Why do Share Market Prices go down even after having better Quarterly Results?

The markets always expect the company to be in a better state of business through their balance sheets, which are often mentioned in their quarterly reports, known as earnings reports. The company will be assessed based on the fundamentals from the investor's perspective.

Some of them are earnings per share, known as EPS, which is how investors have earned through shares compared to the previous quarter. The company, even though it posted a good quarterly report, will show a fall in stock prices due to three reasons: expectations from investors, whisper numbers, and future guidance growth.

In this whisper numbers, which is like an investor's own analysis like indie stock analysis, which may lead to stock prices falling even though they posted a good quarterly number, another lesser-known issue is about future guidance growth;

otherwise, future projects or investments that a company is eyeing its prize when they are detracted after the initial mention in quarter reports will cause the stock price to fall. These are some of the reasons for the fall in stock prices even though they posted a good quarterly number.
