IDFC First Bank announced the re-appointment of Mr. Sanjeeb Chaudhuri as the Part-Time Chairman of the Bank. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) approved this decision, effective from August 25, 2024, until May 09, 2027. This re-appointment follows a previous intimation to the stock exchanges on March 27, 2024.
Mr. Sanjeeb Chaudhuri, with over four decades of senior multinational business experience, is an accomplished leader with a robust background in global banks and consumer companies. His re-appointment was approved under Section 10B (1A)(i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, as per the RBI's letter dated June 14, 2024.

Mr. Chaudhuri holds an MBA in Marketing and has completed an Advanced Management Program. He has significant experience in digital transformation, generating efficiencies through technology-based solutions, and leading major consumer and commercial markets across India, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
His illustrious career includes roles such as Independent Director at Aditya Birla Group company ABFRL, Director of Citigroup Europe PLC, and member of the Supervisory Board at Bank Handlowy. Currently, he serves as a Global Mentor at Columbia School of Business and Northeastern University, and a Global Advisor at Crayon Data Pte Ltd., Singapore.
