HB Portfolio Q1 Results Reports Total Income Arise of ₹703.61 Lakhs

HB Portfolio reported significant changes in its financial performance for the quarter ending June 30, 2024. The company earned a total income of Rs. 703.61 lakhs, which is a notable increase from Rs. 369.78 lakhs in the same quarter of the previous year. This increase in income came mainly from a rise in revenue from operations, which was Rs. 703.61 lakhs compared to Rs. 360.78 lakhs last year. However, there was no other income reported this quarter, whereas the previous year had Rs. 9.00 lakhs.

HB Portfolio’s expenses totaled Rs. 107.95 lakhs this quarter. This is up from Rs. 69.91 lakhs in the same quarter last year. The rise in expenses is primarily due to increased purchases and other operating costs. Despite the higher expenses, the company reported a profit before tax of Rs. 595.66 lakhs, compared to a profit of Rs. 299.87 lakhs in the same period last year.

HB Portfolio achieved a total comprehensive income of Rs. 1329.99 lakhs after accounting for taxes and other comprehensive income. This is a significant improvement from Rs. 1503.29 lakhs reported in the same quarter last year. The increase in comprehensive income is largely attributed to gains in the fair value of investments.
