GRSE Signs MOUs with  Merlinhawk Aerospace and Kerala State Electronics

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has signed two non-binding Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Merlinhawk Aerospace Private Limited and Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KEL TRON). These agreements mark a significant step in GRSE’s collaboration with leading technology firms.

The first MOU with Merlinhawk Aerospace focuses on developing advanced technology solutions for naval applications. This includes composite doors and hatches for naval ships, Counter UAV solutions using EDFCS and CRN 91, EOIRST for surveillance, composite masts for Indian Navy ships, and hydrogen fuel cells for maritime power generation.

The second MOU with KEL TRON aims at creating a collaborative effort to develop core futuristic technologies for underwater surveillance. This initiative is geared towards achieving self-reliance in critical areas of underwater technology.

While these MOUs set the stage for future developments, the financial impact and completion dates are yet to be determined. The agreements underscore GRSE’s commitment to advancing maritime and technological innovations.
