Apar Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Manish Agrawal as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its Conductor and Telecommunications businesses, effective July 2, 2024. This decision was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Compensation-cum-Remuneration Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.

Mr. Agrawal is an experienced professional in the energy infrastructure sector, with over 27 years of expertise. Before joining Apar Industries, he was the CEO and Whole-Time Director at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited, where he led the Global Products & Services Business.

He is known for his advocacy of disruptive technologies and his significant contributions to policy-making in manufacturing, EPC, and infrastructure. His efforts have greatly influenced initiatives like Make in India, public-private partnerships, and the modernization of transmission and distribution infrastructure.

An alumnus of Harvard University, Mr. Agrawal also holds executive leadership credentials from IIM-A and ISB, Hyderabad, and has a degree in Engineering and an MBA from Federation University, Australia.
